イベントについて / About this event

KubeCon EU 2019でOpenCensusとOpenTracingがOpenTelemetryというプロジェクトにマージしてCNCFプロジェクトとして新たに参加することが決定しました。これからの動向を確認しつつ、OpenCensusやOpenTracingの知見を共有していきます。

New project "OpenTelemetry" was announced in KubeCon EU 2019 as the merger of OpenCensus and OpenTracing, which started as a new member of CNCF project. This community observes its activities and latest updates and share knowledge on OpenCensus and OpenTracing.

発表 / Presentations

• 発表者絶賛募集中ですので、発表者枠でご登録ください。応募フォームをきちんと書いてくれた方は参加枠を確保します。 / Call for Proposal is open! Please submit your proposal via the registration form. The organizer will secure the seat for those who submitted the proposal.

各参加枠の説明 / Registration types

• 発表枠 / Speaker: 20分のOpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetryに関する発表を行ってください。/ Speakers give 20 minutes talk session on OpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry.
• LT枠 / Lightning Talk: 5分のOpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetryに関するLTを行ってください。 / Speakers give 5 minutes lightning talk session on OpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry.
• ブログ枠 / Blog report: 参加後にイベント感想か、自分でOpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetryを試したブログを書いてください。 / Please post event report blog entries afterwards; otherwise, please try OpenCensus/OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry and post the impression on it after the event.
• SNS枠 / SNS report: Twitterなどで実況やまとめをしてください / Live tweeting or reports on Twitter and other SNS.
• 一般参加 / Attendee: 特にありませんが、積極的に質疑などでイベントを盛り上げてください / Attendees are preferred to ask questions aggressively to make the event more active.
• スタッフ枠 / Staffs: 会場設営に人手が必要なので、受付開始前に会場に来て設営や受付業務を手伝ってください。 / Staffs are supposed to be at the event venue before the event start time and help arranging the venue and the reception operation.

発表枠・LT枠は枠を超えても登録可能です。きちんと発表内容を提案してくれた方は漏れてしまっても参加枠を確保します。 / You can register your talk as either of speaker session or LT exceeding the number of slots. The organizer will secure your seats even if your talk won't be accepted.

• 人材紹介もしくは転職や就職の斡旋・勧誘を目的としたご参加はご遠慮ください。 / Please refrain from joining the event only for recruiting purpose.

• 写真、動画撮影について勉強会に参加される方、スピーカーの方によっては撮影を好まない方もいらっしゃいます。配慮のうえ、断りを入れてから撮影をお願い致します。 / Please be considerate when sharing photos of the event on SNS.

• 参加できない場合はイベント当日昼までにキャンセルをお願いします。無断欠席の場合は次回以降のイベントでペナルティがあります。 / If you get not to be able to join the event after the registration, please cancel your reservation by the noon of the event day. If you make no-show, you'll get some penalty in next event registration.
